Join U of L President and Vice-Chancellor Bill Cade as he updates the community on the U of L’s progress.

Dr. William H. (Bill) Cade was appointed to the position of President and Vice-Chancellor in July, 2000. By profession he is a zoologist/entomologist who holds multiple degrees (B.A., M.A. and Ph.D.) from the University of Texas at Austin and dual Canadian / American citizenship.
Over his 30-year career span to date, Dr. Cade as amassed a significant volume of teaching and administrative duties with numerous research projects and student supervision, including mentoring a number of students ranging from those at a high-school level to students engaged in post-doctoral research.
He came to the University of Lethbridge from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, where he was a long-serving faculty member and former Dean of Mathematics and Science. In addition to his current administrative duties, he carries out an active, peer-reviewed research program, and was recently – and unanimously – confirmed by the Board of Governors to begin a second, five-year term as President, effective July 1, 2005.
